My name is Luisa and I am the founder of Rayito de Sol, a Spanish Immersion Preschool/kindergarten Early Learning Center and Language Academy.
Our program is designed to stimulate educational development in toddler, preschool and kindergarten age children through immersion.
Spanish is a language of over 400 million people, the backbone of vibrant cultures, unique history and rich heritage. At Rayito de Sol we incorporate these strong values to maximize your child learning experience to a new dimension of education.
At Rayito de Sol, we provide tools for language acquisition at the earliest of stages in a child’s development when cognitive brain development is geared for acquiring new skills. Applying the immersion method will allow your child to acquire a new language rather than just “learning” it; thereby developing concrete comprehension, fluency and use of the Spanish language.
Our academic learning experiences are highly interactive using music, art and cultural expression to enhance skill and retention.
Our Spanish immersion approach has proven to be a unique and highly successful alternative to typical bilingual education and is conducted in a relaxed, creative and nurturing environment.
In addition to the traditional learning methods, Rayito de Sol has developed its own curriculum based on the Core Knowledge curriculum, which provides a great learning experience for your child.
The daily class schedule includes indoor, outdoor, theme-based structured learning activities, arts, singing, learning stations, play time, nap time, eating and other social and cultural activities, we offer every day enrichment activities as part of our curriculum for example; Latin dance, yoga and fitness (zumbakids) and monthly birthday celebrations with a piñata party. In addition, our student to teacher ratios are low to enhance your child's learning experience.. Our teacher's are Native Speakers exposing your child to authentic accents and expressions!.
